TRUGOLF™ is one of the only simulators to use two types of sensors (one for club head tracking, and the other for ball flight data collection); used in conjunction with the largest ball flight data sampling (we have at least a 10 ft sample of ball flight info vs. others who have only a few ft. of ball flight info), it results in one of the most accurate systems available.
Due to this data and the advanced ball flight model the system can very accurately detect draws and fades as well as hooks and slices. The launch angle is very reliable detecting punch shots and skied shots.
The technological advances made with the E6™ engine are unprecedented in the industry. The features are so cutting edge in golf simulation; Trugolf have pushed well beyond any competition for many years to come. See E6Golf™ software features.
Club Head Sensors – Minimal upkeep is required for our golf simulator. Since our system uses club head tracking technology, the club head sensors in the hitting mat must remain clear. Simply vacuum any debris from the sensor holes every so often.
Projector – The projector bulb will need to be replaced occasionally.
The golf hitting mat is very durable and its life is dependent on use. Most mats in residential settings last 2 years or longer. For commercial use the mat should last 6months to 18months. The golf screen is very durable but will break down over time with use. Use clean golf balls that have not been scratched or marred. The golf screen will last a year or two with normal residential use and approximately 9 months to a year with commercial use.
Yes, it is possible to use your own computer if it meets minimum requirements.
Not unless your projector meets very specific requirements. Our simulator requires a specific short throw distance projector to eliminate shadow throw on the screen while golfing. We can help choose the best option for your simulator.
Generally the projector will be supplied by Golfsim Australia as a part of the package.
The Golfsim Australia simulator requires several electrical outlets as well as video and data conduits located near each component, e.g., the projector needs power, video, and sometimes data. Component locations vary.

All simulators draw 3-4 Amps, and need one 15A. 240V standard GPO. We use surge protected power boards to connect all projectors, computers, monitors and simulator components.
