OVERVIEW

This space was in the basement of a family home. Having a dual use space was of high importance so the whole family could use it for multiple purposes. The 5m wide x 3m high screen offers a perfect viewing experience for golf and entertainment. The system is connected through a Denon amplifier acting as the hub for multiple uses. There is an apple TV, XBOX, PC and VR connected to enable surround sound for all playbacks.

The chosen technology was Uneekor EYEXO. The overhead sensor allows for seamless left and right hand players in the space. Stickers can be used on the clubs to enhance metrics such as angle of attack and lie angle. The sensor has almost zero lag in the software and works perfectly for drivers, irons, wedges and putting.

Golfsim Australia did all the design in house to ensure the space was aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Acoustic Autex panelling lines the entire wall on the right of the simulator. There is a laser etched pattern across the panels in a soft cement colour that mimics rammed earth. This entire wall along with the wood veneer hub panels behind the television create an acoustically pleasing environment with minimal echoes.

Acoustic carpet tiles and a recessed hitting mat complete the floor. Our hitting mats are made from highly durable materials to allow for compression on the golf ball, this enhances accuracy for strikes and compares closely to outdoors. The swing cameras offer invaluable feedback for the golfer and are critical for any installation where performance enhancement and training is important.

The Audio and Visual elements were carefully considered. A 4K LG BU53RG ProBream projector creates an immersive experience which shows off the latest 4K software in full detail, as well as all streaming services such as Netflix, Disney and Kayo Sports. The Audio system is a 5.1 channel Krix surround sound system enabling the system to be utilised for movies and music without compromise.
