OVERVIEW

This simulator installation required careful consideration to the space it was going in. Vaulted ceilings caused a challenge for the layout as the traditional flat ceiling to protect high launch shots was not an option. As a result we needed to create custom upholstery to follow the rake of the ceiling so the client could keep the exposed beam cathedral ceiling. This was discussed in detail with the architect.

The chosen technology was Uneekor EYEXO2. This was to enable a large hitting area to accommodate both left and right handed golfers in a width of about 4meters wide. The most unique challenge was the fact the room was a thoroughfare from the garage to the house. This meant the golf simulator needed to be able to be retracted away when not in use to enable passage through this area. Our custom made retractable impact screens can be made to suit any space from 3meters to 5meters wide and up to 4meters high. In addition we supplied custom motorised curtains with styling to match the rest of the room. The upholstery was also completed with custom Warwick fabrics to match the space.

Acoustic carpet tiles and a recessed hitting mat complete the floor. Our hitting mats are made from highly durable materials to allow for compression on the golf ball, this enhances accuracy for strikes and compares closely to outdoors. The swing cameras offer invaluable feedback for the golfer and are critical for any installation where performance enhancement and training is important.

The Audio and Visual elements were carefully considered. Our 4K Appotronics projectors offer unrivalled colour and clarity which show off the latest 4K software in full detail. The Audio system is a 4.1 channel surround sound system enabling the system to be utilised for movies and music without compromise.
